Best Use of AI in Manufacturing Award

This award celebrates organisations in Ireland that are deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to revolutionise manufacturing processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive industrial innovation. It honours initiatives that optimise production, improve quality control, streamline supply chain management, and enable predictive maintenance. This category recognises projects that address manufacturing sector challenges, deliver measurable benefits, and position organisations as leaders in industrial transformation. The judges are particularly interested in understanding how AI has been implemented in your manufacturing operations and the tangible impact it has had over the past 12 months. Entry is by a 5-page A4 submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by evidence that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

• AI Strategy and Objectives: Describe your AI strategy and key goals, such as enhancing production efficiency, improving quality control, or reducing costs, and how these align with your business objectives.
• AI Solutions and Implementation: Detail the AI technologies or solutions you’ve implemented and where they are applied, such as predictive maintenance, production line optimisation, supply chain management, or inventory control.
• Operational Integration: Explain how AI is embedded into daily manufacturing operations and how it enhances decision-making or optimises processes.
• Innovation: Highlight unique or innovative AI applications that differentiate your organisation and create competitive advantages in manufacturing.
• Business Impact: Provide measurable data showing the impact of AI on your operations, such as reduced downtime, improved product quality, increased efficiency, or sustainability gains.
• Future AI Plans: Outline your future AI goals, including areas for expansion and how AI will continue driving growth and innovation.
