This award recognises organisations in Ireland that leverage Artificial driven initiatives that have demonstrably advanced conservation, climate resilience, or sustainable development. The focus is on projects that deliver tangible environmental benefits, align with global and local sustainability goals, and create lasting positive outcomes for the environment, communities, and future generations. The judges are particularly interested in the specific sustainability challenges tackled, the measurable environmental improvements achieved, and the long-term impact AI has contributed to your organisation’s sustainability efforts over the past 12 months. Entry is by a 5-page A4 submission; the judges will be looking for clear information backed up by evidence that pays particular attention to the criteria listed below.

  • Organisation Background: Provide an overview of your organisation, the size of your team, and its role in advancing sustainability. Highlight key achievements, particularly those focused on environmental conservation, carbon reduction, resource efficiency, or other sustainable practices.
  • AI’s Role in Sustainability Strategy: Detail how AI has been strategically used to tackle specific sustainability challenges or opportunities. Explain how the application of AI aligns with broader sustainability goals.
  • Impact & Innovation of AI Solutions: Clearly outline the sustainability challenges addressed and demonstrate how AI provided a transformative solution. Explain any innovative or unique uses of AI in advancing sustainability efforts.
  • Future Sustainability Contributions: Share how the AI initiative has led to systemic change or inspired further sustainability innovations within your organisation or industry. Provide evidence of lasting impact on the environment.
  • Evidence and Results: Provide data, case studies, or performance metrics to illustrate the success of the AI initiative & detail tangible benefits.
