Climb Channel Solutions, an international specialty technology distributor and subsidiary of Climb Global Solutions, has secured a distribution partnership with cybersecurity vendor Sophos for the Irish market, according to Irish Tech News.
Climb becomes the only authorised Irish distributor offering the Sophos Threat Profile assessment service. The service highlights exposed credentials, suspicious domains, dark web exposure and internet-facing vulnerabilities, enabling businesses to prioritise remediation and reduce risk.
Ireland's cybersecurity sector is growing 13.4% annually and generating €2.7 billion in revenue, according to a 2025 Cyber Ireland and NI Cyber report. Climb will facilitate direct access to Sophos Central, an adaptive AI-native platform intercepting attacks before they occur.
The distribution agreement covers the entire Sophos product suite including managed detection and response services eliminating threats at speed, alongside defence across endpoint, firewall, email and cloud environments. Solutions will be supported by Climb's emerging technology expertise and partner investment across the Sophos reseller and managed service provider landscape.
Brian Davis, VP of Sales UK&I at Climb, said: "Ireland's cybersecurity landscape is evolving at pace with recent research showing growth of 13% per annum. Threats are becoming more sophisticated, and customer expectations are rising. Cybersecurity remains a key strategic growth area for Climb, and we are continuously looking to expand our portfolio in Ireland."
Jason Ellis, VP Channel Sales EMEA at Sophos, said: "Expanding our presence in the Irish market is a reflection of the great relationship we hold with Climb in North America.
