The Life Sciences Industry Conference 2026 has announced three additional speakers, bringing senior expertise in digital transformation, technology, data and engineering to its programme focused on applying AI across life sciences manufacturing and operations.

Sinead Keogh, Director of BioPharmaChem Ireland and Head of Sectors at Ibec, brings two decades of life sciences experience at Ibec to the conference. She was appointed Director of BioPharmaChem Ireland in 2023 after a decade leading Ibec’s Medtech and Engineering sector group.

Keogh also sits on the industry advisory board for SSPC and the national association boards of Cefic’s EFCG and EuropaBio. Her academic background includes a PhD in the physics of molecular materials and nanotechnology, providing a research perspective alongside her industry and sector leadership experience.

Fergal Wall, Director of Technology, Digital & Data at NIBRT, will bring a direct focus on digital transformation and AI. Wall leads NIBRT’s transformation agenda across digital, data and AI, including its Digital Academy and the digitisation of its GMP like training and research facility.

Before joining NIBRT, Wall spent more than 20 years in senior technology roles at Glanbia, culminating in the position of Global Head of IT. His experience connects enterprise technology, digital strategy and data with the practical requirements of organisations undergoing technology transformation.

Michael Brennan, Head of Global Engineering at Teleflex, adds global engineering expertise to the programme. He leads the company’s global engineering function across process development, maintenance, facilities, capital investment and footprint management.

Brennan spent 14 years in pharmaceutical operations, maintenance and new product introduction before moving into medical devices, where he held senior global operations and engineering technology roles at Hollister.

The three newly announced speakers join a growing line-up of 13 speakers announced to date, bringing expertise across pharmaceutical operations, quality, digital transformation, engineering, research and AI. William Fahey, Data Science Lead at Pfizer, has also been named keynote speaker, with further speakers still to be announced.

Taking place on 22 October 2026 at the Crowne Plaza, Santry, the conference will focus on AI applications across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, digital transformation and process optimisation. Its four themes cover responsible AI, scaling AI from pilot to production, people and organisational change, and the AI ready enterprise.
