Storm Technology’s Windsor Modernising Vehicle Appraisal secured the Best Customer Experience Impact Award at the Digital Transformation & AI Awards 2025 earlier this year for its comprehensive redesign of the vehicle appraisal process.

The initiative introduced a bespoke digital solution that allows customers to complete valuations remotely, while significantly improving workflow efficiency for staff across Windsor’s nationwide network. Its strategy prioritised customer convenience, operational simplicity and measurable performance outcomes, reflected in reduced dealership visits and a more streamlined overall experience.

Judges highlighted the project’s ability to address entrenched customer challenges through precision-driven digital transformation, supported by strong systems integration and standardised processes across multiple sites.

“Storm Technology’s collaboration with Windsor delivered a standout digital transformation that directly tackled key customer pain points in vehicle appraisal,” the judges noted. “With dealership visits reduced from 2–3 to just 1.2, and over €177 million worth of vehicles processed through the new system, the impact is both measurable and meaningful.”
