Three Ireland has appointed Jon Davies as chief technology and innovation officer and Sinéad O'Donnell as head of corporate affairs, according to Business Plus.

Davies will oversee Three Ireland's network, technology architecture and innovation agenda, with responsibilities including driving network excellence, advancing 5G deployment and AI innovation. He brings more than 20 years of senior technology leadership experience across large-scale telecommunications and digital transformation programmes in Ireland and the UK.

Previously director of digital and innovation at Three UK and director of digital and transformation at Vodafone UK, Davies has held senior roles with Adobe, Orange and Eurostar. Throughout his career, he has delivered board-level transformation initiatives, modernising platforms and embedding agile and AI-driven operating models.

As head of corporate affairs, O'Donnell will lead corporate communications, public affairs, business PR, press office and corporate social responsibility strategy. She will shape Three's corporate reputation while supporting the executive leadership team on strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.

O'Donnell brings over 20 years' experience spanning journalism, agency and corporate communications. Prior to joining Three, she served as associate director in the corporate and public affairs practice at Wilson Hartnell, where she led integrated communications strategies for national and global organisations across highly regulated sectors.
