Philippines-based Globe is accelerating digital transformation across the country through expanded infrastructure, enterprise innovation, and inclusive connectivity.
Its third-quarter 2025 results reflect a 13% quarter-on-quarter growth in Corporate Data revenues, driven by demand for connectivity, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), and data centre solutions.
Globe’s joint venture with ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (Philippines), in partnership with Ayala Corporation, has recently launched its first data centre at STT Fairview 1, followed by a second site in Cavite. These facilities add substantial capacity designed for hyperscale workloads and AI applications, supporting enterprise operations nationwide.
The company’s connectivity footprint now reaches 96.13% of the Philippine population, reinforcing digital infrastructure and enabling broader access to enterprise solutions. To address digital inequality, Globe has partnered with UK-based social enterprise unconnected.org to extend internet access to remote schools and Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs). This initiative equips students, teachers, and communities with digital tools to support learning and livelihoods.
Carl Cruz, Globe’s president and CEO, said: “Globe’s infrastructure investments and enterprise solutions are vital to building the nation’s digital backbone. As businesses and institutions embrace digital transformation, Globe stands as their trusted partner, enabling innovation, cybersecurity readiness, and inclusive growth aligned with the government’s Digital Philippines vision.”
Globe’s approach demonstrates a dual focus on enterprise capability and social impact. By combining data centre expansion, enterprise-ready connectivity, and community-focused partnerships, the company is strengthening the Philippines’ readiness for an AI- and data-driven future while bridging digital divides.
